Sarah BarlottaSarah received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Women's studies in 1998 from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (formerly North Adams State College). Sarah anticipated continuing her education in psychology and eventually working as a therapist. However, the surge in giving prescription medications as primary treatment left Sarah feeling discouraged and limited. Sarah began to realize she wanted a more natural approach to treatment, thereby lessening harmful side-effects, and began to look into acupuncture and herbal medicine. Even though Sarah has a fond appreciation for psychology and the powerful effects cognitive and behavioral therapy can have she realized for her acupuncture and herbal medicine was what she truly wanted to study. She enrolled in school at the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) and graduated with a Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Sarah looks forward to incorporating all her studies, psychology, women's studies, acupuncture, and herbal medicine into her practice treating many conditions including but not exclusive to OBGYN disorders, menopause, PMS, depression, anxiety, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, migraines, pain disorders......... |
